A friend of mine who also likes spiritual and meditative music shared this video with me. I was amazed at the skill of this woman and love the tones and rhythms she creates with this instrument; the sound reminds me of Caribbean steel drums, but it seems to be lighter in tone. (I have no idea what the instrument is called — I wish I knew.) I hope you enjoy it!

A friend of mine shared this video and I loved it so much, I just had to put it on the blog. Improv Everywhere put members of the Carnegie Hall orchestra on the street in New York City with a sign saying “Conduct Us.” It’s delightful to see the joy on people’s faces as they lead the musicians or just watch the proceedings.
