Writing Prompt: Travel
Thanksgiving week typically sees the most travel of any week in the year. So it seems appropriate to base this week’s prompt on the idea of travel. Write about people going from one place to another, or trying and failing, or engaged in the process in some way: packing a suitcase, getting a taxi to the airport, waiting for a bus to arrive. You could write about the regret of spending precious days off with bickering relatives, the joy of seeing long-lost kin, or the thrill of escaping the holiday routine for a week on the beach. I feel certain you can find some angle that will inspire you to write.
