Writing Prompt: Lost and Found, Part 2
A few weeks ago, I shared a prompt I called Lost and Found, where a character is searching for something s/he has lost. This week, I’d like you to revisit that concept, focusing this time on a character’s reaction when s/he finds an object that was missing. Write a poem, scene or story that focuses on a character locating something that was once lost. (The character may or may not have been actively searching for this item, and it may have belonged to someone else.)
For a more powerful story, make the lost item something that was particularly important or valuable — an object with a history.
